It is with great regret that we note the loss of Legion member Nick Ring (TK/TC-5986) of the 501st Canadian Garrison. The Legion expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to Nick's twin brother Graeme and family.

The official 2008 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge finalists have been selected by Atom and voting has begun! The 501st and fan films have a long-standing relationship, and you'll see plenty of trooper references among the entries this year as well. Click here to vote for your favorite fan film before July 10th! Award-winners will be announced at the first day of San Diego Comic-Con on July 24th.

June 2008 brought record-breaking 501st participation in Disney's Star Wars Weekends, with the Legion marching in the Hollywood-style motorcade all four weekends.
